About studio vesters
Studio Vesters is a studio founded by Mirjam Vesters. Mirjam is an artist currently based in Brussels, Belgium and Eindhoven, the Netherlands.
In 2015 Mirjam graduated from the Studio Still (storyboarding and illustration) program of the bachelor of Visual Design from LUCA School of Arts in Ghent, Belgium. Since then she has been working as a freelance graphic designer, animator and illustrator.
In 2019 Mirjam made her first short film ‘Limiet bereikt’ and won the 'Snackbites' competition by the Dutch television broadcaster VPRO. After that she was certain she wanted to dive deeper in animation and in 2021, at age 31, she decided to go back to school.
In 2022 she graduated with great distinction (magna cum laude) from the Bachelor in animation at LUCA School of Arts, Brussels.
In 2023 she graduated from the Master in animation at LUCA School of Arts, Brussels, again with great distinction (magna cum laude).
Clients of Studio Vesters include Het Laatste Nieuws, Melkweg, Le Guess Who, The Daily Indie, Brabants Dagblad, Eindhovens Dagblad and BN De Stem.
