Feed the
starving artist 

'Feed the starving artist' is a comment on todays illustration industry. A lot of clients ask illustrators to work for free and get compensated by 'exposure' instead of money.

 

In the stall there is an illustrator named Ivo, and you as a 'client' can decide whether you want to feed him food (which stands for money because unlike exposure, money gives you the opportunity to buy food) or exposure. You can pick one of the two baskets and try to throw the objects in his mouth.

 

Afterwards you'll get a little card depending on which basket you chose. If you chose to feed Ivo some food, you'll get a thank you card.

But if you chose to feed Ivo some exposure, you'll get a funeral card which says Ivo died of starvation because he couldn't afford any food anymore.
